Growth is personal. It’s not something you can plan. It’s spontaneous at times, like a sudden rainfall that waters the seeds that you’ve sown.
You look back one day and realize that you have a feast growing in your garden.
The hard times made you dig your heals in even deeper. Those seeds that fell behind you developed the deepest roots.
It takes time to settle into the growth that’s occurred.
You’ll miss the old days, the old ways. You’ll miss those who came and went. You’ll look back and see some moments in a better light than they were in when you walked away.
But you have to trust it all.
I remember days that in my anger I sent violent waves of energy towards people who did me wrong. Now I don’t ever think of those people.
Time lends itself to forgiveness.
Time lends itself to all aspects of growth if you allow it.
At the right moments, the rain stops, the rays of sun break through the clouds and you can breathe a lot deeper than you had before.
It all works out as it should if you’re sowing the seeds of growth.
